Hi, Looking for part of my family
tree, have come to a brickwall at John Joseph Murdoch, born 1839 (Gundagai,
NSW, Australia) who married Mary Ann Pomeroy/Stokes in 1880 in Yass. I can't
find his birth certificate but according to his death certificate, his parents
were Mary Fain and John Joseph Murdoch... I can't find any trace of their
marriage or death certificates in NSW. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Looking for Canadian branch of
family tree. My paternal g mother's family emigrated to Ontario about 1880
from Dumfries area (Lochmaben/Sanquar. She had two brothers John b. about
1876 and William b. about 1879 in Scotland, she may have been born in Canada.
She came back to UK in about 1904 and married my grandfather , Archibald
Stevenson, in Sunderland. Looking for descendants of John and William. Their

a few however from a big family ther are 6 lft to carry on the name. I am
getting married next summer and would like myself and the murdock family
members in the wedding party to wear our tartan is this the tartan i should
wear. I am proud to be a Murdock and would like to show it. I am not trying
to brag, but if you are from canada and have watched canadian idol I am the
