I recently moved to Augusta Mo
and discovered an old graveyard that was afamily plot for pioneer family
named Murdoch, buried there in the early to late 1800's were Alexander, James
, and George Murdoch. If anyone has any info on this family I would appreciate
it. Augusta is about 40 miles west of St Louis. |

I am a 3rd generation South African
Murdoch. My grandfather, Patrick McArthur George Murdoch was born in Forres,
Scotland and emigrated to SA with his mother in early 1900's. His father
had gone prospecting in Canada and never rejoined his SA family. Do I now

grandfather was William John Murdoch he was with the Blackwatch in ww1 died
about 1950. I am unable to locate any records on him I do not know when he
came to canada or if he was born here my mother barely remembers him. He
